PwC high fliers hit the ground in £25,000 fundraiser for malaria

The descent of the iconic London office at Embankment Place, opposite the London Eye and on top of Charing Cross station, was approx 39 meters (130 feet), the equivalent of jumping from four average two storey houses, with many taking part in abseiling for the very first time.

The descent of the iconic London office at Embankment Place, opposite the London Eye and on top of Charing Cross station, was approx 39 meters (130 feet), the equivalent of jumping from four average two storey houses, with many taking part in abseiling for the very first time.

The event is part of the firm’s long running support of the Against Malaria Foundation, and the money raised will purchase over 8000 anti malaria bed nets in Africa. Over the last four years, in addition to providing pro-bono accountancy services, PwC employees have raised over £250,000 for the charity, purchasing almost 100,000 anti – malaria bed nets, and protecting up to 160,000 children and their families.
